Metal Mule is based on experience. I built my first set of motorcycle luggage after riding through Africa, Asia, Australia and the extremes of Europe on my Tenere and XT600. They were all memorable trips and I learnt a great deal and made lots of new friends.

I also discovered that overlanding by motorcycle requires a special sort of motorcycle luggage system . It needs to be tough and practical - totally secure,waterproof and easy to use day in, day out.

That's why a METAL MULE motorcycle luggage system is built the way it is, with strong and secure locks, the patented QUICK FIT attachment system and strong, riveted construction.

That was 5 years ago, and since then the METAL MULE luggage system designed and built in Britain - has become synonymous with quality, innovation and strength. Wherever you're heading this year, RIDE SAFE.

As well as our iconic motorcycle luggage systems, you will see several partnerships that we believe compliment the Metal Mule Brand in quality, ruggedness, strength and value for money. All of which we have used or are using now in our travels and can therefore heartily recommend.

You will also find the increased range of Metal Mule designed products to enhance our revolutionary luggage system.

Among the new bikes for this year we have taken Yamaha's iconic XT back to its roots by developing a high level 2 into 1 exhaust system and loads of accessories for the more serious traveller. Giving you a taste of what we're planning to do to the new Tenere in 2008.

Triumph's Tiger has grown into the 1050i and we've added our take on it's touring option along with the legendary Bonneville and Scrambler with their own classic styled motorcycle luggage system - that echoes  60's cool.

You can also chose from our UK designed and built motorcycle exhaust systems for the 1150 GS/A and 1200GS/A BMWs which allow a balanced luggage option without those space losing cut aways! The faithful BMW F650 GS and Dakar also gets a single sided exhaust system to save weight, enhance sound and performance.

Working with Kriega UK we have produced our stylish Inner Bags which combine Kriega's design and manufacture with Metal Mule level of innovation and design parameters. You will find more of our favourite Kriega products too.

Creature comforts are covered with luxurious Sargent Seats and Chilli heated clothing.
